SwiftBill Automation LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates Remy, an AI-powered payment reminder service for freelancers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account and use Remy, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and business name.
• Payment links: URLs or handles you provide for Venmo, PayPal, CashApp, Zelle, and Stripe so Remy can include them in invoices and reminders.
• Client data: Names, email addresses, and phone numbers of your clients that you add to Remy.
• Invoice data: Invoice amounts, service descriptions, due dates, and payment status.
• Billing information: Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions with Remy to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Send invoices, payment reminders, and receipts on your behalf to your clients.
• Generate AI-crafted reminder copy tailored to your communication preferences.
• Send you daily digest emails summarizing upcoming reminders.
• Process your subscription payments.
• Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
• Improve and optimize our service.

3. Third-Party Services

Remy uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase: Database hosting and user authentication.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery (invoices, reminders, receipts, digest emails).
• Stripe: Subscription billing and payment processing. If you connect your Stripe account via Stripe Connect, payments from your clients flow directly to your Stripe account — Remy never holds or processes those funds.
• OpenAI: AI-generated reminder copy. Invoice and client data may be sent to OpenAI for copy generation. No data is used by OpenAI to train their models.
• Railway: Application hosting.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only shared with the third-party services listed above as necessary to operate Remy.

When you send an invoice or reminder through Remy, your business name, invoice details, and payment links are shared with your client via email. This is the core function of the service.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Invoice and reminder data is retained for up to 3 years after the invoice is marked paid or the account is closed, to support record-keeping needs. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

6. Cookies

Remy uses minimal cookies. We use a session cookie for authentication purposes only. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Delete your account: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Export your data: Request an export of your invoices and client records.
• Correct your data: Update or correct any inaccurate information in your profile.
• Opt out of emails: Unsubscribe from marketing emails (transactional emails related to your invoices and account will continue).

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), secure database access controls (Row Level Security), and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Children's Privacy

Remy is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of Remy after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. SMS Communications

If you provide a mobile phone number and opt in to SMS notifications during account setup, SwiftBill Automation LLC may send you transactional text messages related to your Remy account, such as invoice payment reminders and receipts.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in information will not be shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes. SMS data is used solely to deliver transactional notifications you have requested.

Message frequency varies based on your invoice activity. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out of SMS notifications at any time, reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. You may also manage your SMS preferences in your account settings.
